How to use LivePost

Choose the photos and videos from a single experience — a hike, a birthday, an ordinary afternoon. A description appears as you select, and LivePost asks only about what it cannot know: who is in the picture, what kind of event this was.

Open it and everything sits in one place: the media, the description, the place and the date. LivePost lists what it worked out — the people, the time, the kind of event — and you confirm it or correct it. All of it stays private.

A suggested post sits at the front of Home under a title LivePost proposed. Below it, a short clarification when something is unclear — who was there, what kind of event this was. Answer with a tap, or choose Not now.

The suggestion opens as a finished draft: title, media, description, and who may open the link. Change any of it. The post exists only once you create it — LivePost never publishes on its own.

Moments keeps them in the order they happened, each with its media and description — and the post it produced right underneath. Anything you never posted stays exactly as private as it was.

The post appears on your profile with its audience and the number of people who made it live. This is what someone sees when they arrive from a link you shared.

Family and Friends describe your relationships. Groups are shared spaces you create for people who organize and publish together. What someone can open depends on each post’s access setting, direct shares and active Group membership.

Switch the map to Family and your memories appear next to the ones your family shared — the same trail, the same lake, seen through someone else's eyes.
